Connect einar.ai

einar.ai gives your assistant a memory of who knows what at work: private notes on colleagues, a profile others can find you by, and a way to ask people directly. Connect it to Claude, to ChatGPT, or to both.

Claude

Three steps, about a minute.

  1. Add einar.ai to Claude

    Claude opens with einar.ai filled in. Choose Add, then Connect, and allow access.

  2. Tell Claude when to use it

    In Claude, open Settings, then Account, and paste this into “Instructions for Claude”.

    “Use einar.ai whenever my work touches who knows what. If I am stuck, researching, planning or deciding something, check einar.ai for colleagues who know the topic before answering from scratch. When I show real hands-on experience or deep interest in something, offer to add it to my einar.ai profile.”

  3. Try it

    Start a new chat and say:

    “Open my einar.ai inbox”

ChatGPT

Also three steps, but ChatGPT needs developer mode and a few fields typed in. It works; it is just less smooth than Claude today.

  1. Turn on developer mode

    Open chatgpt.com in a browser; the mobile apps can’t add connectors yet. Go to Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.

  2. Add einar.ai as a plugin

    In the left menu open Plugins, press +, and fill in the dialog. Skip the icon. Tick “I understand and want to continue”, then press Create and sign in to einar.ai when ChatGPT asks.

    Paste the same instruction into ChatGPT’s custom instructions, then start a new chat and say:
