Answers to what people ask most. If yours is not here, write to us.

Getting started

Einar lives in Claude, ChatGPT, Slack and Chrome. See how to connect him. Then ask who knows something, such as «Who knows OKR?». If your profile is empty, Einar asks what you do and suggests topics to pick from. His replies are in Norwegian; Claude passes them on in your language.

Signing in

  • You sign in with a link we send by email. There is no password.
  • No link? Check your spam folder, and ask for a new one on the sign-in page.
  • Does the link say it has been used? Some email services check links before you open them. Ask for a new link.
  • Use your work email. Then you find your colleagues, and they find you.

I see no colleagues

  • If you signed in with a private address, you only see the contacts you invited yourself. Sign in with your work address.
  • Until you have said yes to the network, you do not see your colleagues, and they do not see you. Join under network.
  • If nobody has started the network for your workplace, you can do it under network.
  • If your colleagues are not on Einar yet, invite them. Einar gets better the more people join.

Profile, notes and network

  • Change your profile at einar.ai, or tell Einar: «Add that I know Terraform».
  • Your notes are for your eyes only. Not even the person a note is about sees them.
  • You can leave the network at any time under settings. Your profile is gone for your colleagues at once.
  • Is something about you wrong, or has someone started a network for your workplace without working there? Write to us.

Email and deleting

  • Every email with a question from a colleague has a link that blocks the sender in one click.
  • Delete your account and everything you added under settings, or by asking Einar. You see what is deleted before anything happens.
  • What we store, and why, is in the privacy policy. The rules for use are in the terms.

Contact

Write to hello@einar.ai, or tell Einar «tell Andreas that …». Andreas makes Einar, reads everything himself, and usually answers within a few days.
